15 Second Summary

Alice "Daisy" Tonner uses that nickname because it's the only soft thing about her, and there's something appealing about the incongruity. When she was police, she was one of the officers sworn to secrecy by "Section 31"—because once you've seen one irrefutably supernatural horror, it's easier to make you keep dealing with the rest. And hunting down monsters felt good. So good, that the thrill of the hunt became more important than the law—and she had "full operational discretion" to deal with threats however she saw fit. So she did a lot of terrible things, and killed a lot of people. ...Then she was forcibly separated from her Hunting, and the reality of what she'd become hit her full force. She's with the Magnus Institute now, more or less, and trying really, really hard not to finish turning into a monster.

For others: Although Daisy is now horrified by what she did while a police officer, that history informs a huge part of who she is. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you'd really just Rather Not with her.
For me: breaking/pulling teeth wigs me out; depictions of cat death upset me; I'd really just rather not with "bathroom"-type content. Besides those specific opt-outs, though, I lov2suffer.
